The future is forever because every day comes with its own future; be it tomorrow, next week or next year for that matter. Everyone talk about it, dream it or live it in some way or the other but few believe that the future is actually here and now. Few have the understanding that today is the future and that our tomorrow is made today yesterday is history. Except in our memory, yesterday don't exist. To enjoy today we must move on from yesterday and all the experiences we've had - good or bad.

Why should we forget about the so great and lovely life we had yesterday or the pains people or circumstances inflicted on us? Why are we not having the great life we had yesterday or forget the terrible way we were treated yesterday? Thinking of the good times past creates sadness while thinking about the past wrongs creates worries and pain. Living in the present is taking one day at a time and trying to make the best of it hoping to do better.

Don't we often hear ourselves saying "the young shall grow or the reference to future leaders or future generations"? Here we can see the future being extrapolated from the events and knowledge of today. What if we are not in the present? If you woke up physically alive and well then you are living the day, today. But are you in the present? If you are just around today and not living in the present; then your tomorrow may be just vague desires and worries. It is best to do what you can do today in faith and belief and true expectation of the outcomes you desires. This mindset if practiced goes a long way to create a peaceful a mind, focus and the ability to work, create and realise your expectations. We are co-creators.

Living in the present is waking up and thanking your Creator for another day you have been given to enjoy and be happy. It means by leaving behind the events of yesterday and not bothering about the uncertainties of tomorrow. It also means just taking every minute as it comes with little worry about the negative events and circumstances you are likely to encounter for which you have no control.

To live in the present is to just live, love, laugh and enjoy the day and appreciate what you have and by taking care of things you can control. Dwelling on the events of yesterday will only keep you rooted in the past while being fixated on what might or might not happen tomorrow will only stretch and stress you. Looking outside and worrying about the things you don't have or circumstances you can't control deprives you of enjoying the privilege of being alive.

Sometimes having too many vain friends do us no good. There might be too many comparison leading to unhealthy competitions. My car is bigger than your car far diminishes the fact that we both have a car. Having a few friends who will value one another and be happy that they all have their own cars rather than worry about who drives the biggest car. If you look inside and at yourself more, life can be very simple, free, very good and enjoyable.

You must have heard the powerful phrase "See no evil hear no evil". The more you dwell on what you don't have the more you will remain not having those things. Spending our today dwelling on the greater things as we desire for ourselves, family and community and give these thoughts sincere expressions, then only great future shall we inherit through God. This is how we can create the future now. We are co-creators.

I have created this page to fulfil my great desire to continue in my enlightenment journey and to share my experiences and knowledge of the great power God has bestowed in us humans. I aim to learn and continue to live on the path of being aware and conscious as a creation of God and that all that is in me is part of the divine energy - God the Spirit.
