About this blog

This Blog is about sharing some thoughts and experience in a variety of subject matter ranging from the ordinary to the serious stuff from the publisher. Anyone is welcome to send articles, poems, artwork, or puzzles and it'd be published with gratitude.

This is a place for the future; the future world. Today is the day we have been given and if we are happy we will make the best of it and our tomorrow may be as joyful as today. Please read on with open mind and leave comments; not judgement which must be left in the hands on our Creator.

This blog is a way for me to share my experiences and points of view and also to learn from others with similar or different experiences. The bottom line is to gain from the points of view of others; whether these views are perceived to be positive or negative we all can still learn, grow and perhaps change perceptions for the greater benefit of all.

Perception is not reality, they say, which makes communicating and interacting with other people the most fundamental element in personal and community relations. I am a very curious person who believes in a bottoms up approach to defining problems and to seek best fit solutions within the constraints of available resources, my skills, my knowledge and understanding of the nature of the problem. I am always learning.

There is the need for everyone to endeavour to rise above stereotypes and hear-say by confronting our fears of others as well as the challenges we face. This is the only way we can accept ourselves for who we are in order to easily harness our collective strength to create happiness and wealth.

Having been born and raised in Africa, coming to live in the UK (and in the USA briefly) was a move I considered to be beneficial at the time because it seemed so. In many ways I consider my self lucky to have experienced life and culture of communities different and distant from the ones I was born into. Above all I am an African and Africa is always on my mind.

My aim is to internalise the positive experiences gained from the UK and USA to enable me to continue to develop and be productive to the community of man. On the other hand and for the same reason that this blog is being published, I'll endeavour to use the negative experiences as a motivation to rise above their effects and also to help others to rise along.

We can either change in the way we desire or others will change us in the way they see fit. To desire change and then take the necessary actions to effect changes without thoughts of failure or fear of being judged usually result in profoundly gratifying experience - in that state, you are in control.
